Gracie, Kyushu Puttin on the Style at Forgevalley was the foundation bitchof most of our stock today.
Gracie took first Puppy Bitch at Crufts in 1997, 2nd postgraduate bitch 1998, and 2nd Open Bitch 1999. Gracie had many wins, was always in the cards at Championship level, and had 2 Best Bitches and 2 Reserve Best Bitches to her credit.
She then retired and did not show until she died suddenly at age eleven, until when she was fit as a flea.
She was the mother of Bailey, Champion Pause & Pose for Chequerpei, and the grandmother of Casey Bellicose Headcase the top sharpei of all time who had 22 CCs.
Poppy, Forgevalley Red Ensign for Bellicose, is another daughter of Tetley, GF's Storm in a Teacup over Kaitak.
Poppy
In 2000, at the Shar Pei Club of Great Britain Limit Show, Poppy won Best in Show from an entry of 76 dogs.
At Crufts she was First Postgraduate Bitch, then at Ashington she took Best of Breed and Group 1. She claimed Reserve Best Bitch at the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show in August, then became a mother.
She has now retired.
Phoebe
Phoebe, full name Bellicose Head over Heels to Forgevalley, is the daughter of Poppy and the granddaughter of Gracie.
Bred by Linda Smith, sired by Quinn, Good Fortune, Good Things Come to Kaitak, Phoebe made an excellent start to her show career by, at six months, beating a large puppy class at Hillsborough (Sheffield) under breed specialist Joy Bayliss. She went on to win the Any Variety Puppy Stakes.
At Rotherham Parkgate, under specialist Karlynne Sellstrome, she took Best Puppy in Breed.
At Sharpei Club of G.B. under specialist Peter Clarkson, she won Best Puppy Bitch.
At Scottish K.C. Champ Show she qualified for Crufts with 2nd Puppy bitch.
At Leeds Champ Show under judge Mary Deaks she won Best Puppy Bitch.
At Midland Counties Ch. Show she was First JUnior Bitch and Reserve Best Bitch.
At Bridlington April 02, she was Best in Show under judge Jill Keates (Nokomis)
In February 2005 Phoebe went Best in Show at Midland Sharpei Club Limit Show under judge Clare Davies (Deakie). While she was living with us she hated cats that used to cross our garden. But we had a photo showing how well she had settled down in her new home, and just look!! The photo on the left is of Phoebe just before she retired and went to a pet home.
Forgevalley Rosie Lea is the daughter of our own horsecoat bitch, Bee, Sharosa's Bianca at Forgevalley, by Tetley, GF's Storm in a Teacup over Kaitak.

Eva thrilled and delighted us when at seven and a half months and in seven shows she achieved the following:

Malton CS Reserve Best Puppy in Show;

Cleveland CS Best of Breed and Puppy Group 1.
At Birmingham National Ch Show she took Best Puppy, Best Bitch and Best Opposite Sex with Challenge Certificate..
Then she became a mother.
Eva has now retired to a pet home.
Kaity: Kaitak You are my Sunshine at Forgevalley, Kaity, was the daughter of Razor, who was twice Sharpei of the Year at Shar-Pei Club GB.
She was mother of Ronnie, Champion Forgevalley Starstruck at Witchgait.
Kaity did everything at top speed and never walked if she could run. She was always ready for a bit of mad play right to the end.
She died in October 2009 age 11, having never been ill in her life before. We miss her.
Indi, Forgevalley Indiana Issue was the daughter of our Phoebe and our imported US Champion Thundermoon's Follow my Leader to Forgevalley, (Leader).
She was the sweetest natured bitch you could ever imagine.
She died after a sudden illness on September 10th 2010.
